Working Principle

 

Force is transmitted through the spherical surface,ensuring that the reaction forces are evenly distributed. It relies on the polytetrafluoroethylene plate as the sliding surface. When the structure rotates, the spherical core rotates accordingly to realize the rotation process of the bearing and release the torque generated by the superstructure. During an earthquake, it depends on the slippage of the sliding bearing to offset part of the relative displacement and rduce the seismic forces acting on the building as well as the inter-story deformation.
Anti-seismic spherical steel bearings are applicable to large-span spatial structures and large-span bridges. They are especially suitable for wide bridges, curved bridges, skew bridges, and particularly for the engineering structures in high-intensity seismic areas.

The anti-seismic spherical steel bearing is composed of an upper bearing plate, a stainless steel displacement plate, a polytetrafluoroethylene sliding plate, an intermediate spherical steel core plate, a polytetrafluoroethylene spherical plate, a rubber sealing ring, a lower bearing plate and upper and lower fixed connecting bolts.
