The working principle of the tensile friction pendulum isolation bearing is the same as that of the ordinary friction pendulum bearing. It is an isolation device that utilizes the principle of a simple pendulum to extend the natural vibration period of the structure and consumes energy through spherical contact friction and sliding. On the basis of the ordinary friction pendulum isolation bearing, a tensile device is added, which decomposes the horizontal movement into movements in the X and Y directions, thus making up for the shortcoming that the friction pendulum isolation bearing lacks tensile resistance.
