The Installation Procedure of Viscous Dampers
First, Determine the installation positions of embedded parts according to the drawings, and embed the embedded parts into the interior of the cantilever wall. After ensuring that both the upper and lower embedded parts are horizontal, spot-welding them firmly with the on-site main reinforcement.
Second, after hoisting and positioning the lower joint plate, installing it on the embedded parts, fixing it by spot welding, and firmly connect the viscous damper to the lower joint plate with a pin shaft.
Third, using a jack to lift the right end of the viscous damper to the horizontal position, firmly connect the viscous damper to the upper joint plate with a pin shaft, and fix the upper joint plate by spot welding.
Fourth, Welding the upper and lower joint plates firmly.
