Standard FPB Installation: Control Key Construction Procedures

 

  • Foundation Pre-treatmentEnsure the embedded base plate of the bearing is level and flat, with elevation error controlled within ±1mm, so as to avoid aggravated wear caused by eccentric force.
  • Precision Positioning & InstallationAlign the upper and lower bearing plates strictly in accordance with design drawings; install locating pins and sealing assemblies to prevent deviation of the sliding surface. Avoid collision and scratch of the spherical surface and slider during hoisting.
  • Commissioning & AcceptanceAfter installation, inspect the sliding flexibility and sealing integrity. Conduct vertical load pressure test, and proceed with superstructure construction only after confirming no displacement and no leakage.

 

Common Problems and Solutions

 

  1. Sliding Stagnation: Mostly caused by seal failure and dust ingress. Clean the sliding surface in a timely manner and replace the sealing parts.
  2. Incomplete Reset: Inspect spherical surface wear and eccentric force issues, and calibrate the bearing position.
  3. Corrosion & Leakage: Re-implement anti-corrosion treatment and replace the waterproof sealing assembly.
